CPD Milestone for McGahon’s Team

McGahon Surveyors (MGS) is committed to a culture of continuous learning across both its offices. Every team member is given time during their working week to complete relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Training.
In July 2023 team members in the Newry office hit a milestone by recording 100 hours of CPD training in the year to date. Some of the training and topics included:
Introduction to Adjudication
A Practical Guide to Adjudication under the Construction Contracts Act 2013
Agreed Rules of Measurement – Why, How and What Not to Do
The Public Works Contract
Public Works Contract Update
Common Amendments to The Standard Form of Contract
Donal Mooney, MGS said, “At MGS we pride ourselves on investing in our people. Continuous Professional Development ensures every team member gets the opportunity to continually develop their career which is extremely important to us. It is also essential for our clients to know that we are keeping up to date with the latest practices and procedures within our field of expertise. We have set aside a space in the office where our team can do their CPD training undisturbed and we also have group sessions, where we can collaborate during the training. We are very proud of the team and what they have achieved to date in reaching this milestone.
McGahon Surveyors has offices in Newry and Dundalk and works across Ireland providing Cost Consultancy and Quantity Surveying services.
